• Guai Fort Lighthouse – 4km within 10 minutes walk

This 17-thcentury was built between 1637 and 1638 on the highest point of Macau and contains a chapel and a lighthouse. The chapel is a typical example of 17^th-century Portuguese architecture. The lighthouse, which is the oldest on the China coast, was first lit up on 24^th September 1865 and still serves as a guiding beacon to passing boats. Guia fort and the lighthouse reflect the splendid history of Macau.

• Casino – 4km within 10 minutes walk

There are plenty of casinos in Macau offering a wide variety of games. Casino Lisbo was one of the first casinos to be built in Macau and is one of its most famous landmarks.

• Senado Square – 5km within minutes walk

This historic square is paved with a wave-patterned mosaic of Portuguese cobblestones. Several World Heritage Sites, such as the Leal Senado building, the Holy House of Mercy and St Dominic’s Church, can be found along the way to ruins of St Paul’s. The Portuguese-style buildings surrounding the area offer a wide selection of shopping and dining experience, with both local and international flavors.

The ruins of St Paul’s Cathedral are the most remarkable land mark in Macau. The church was designed by an Italian Jesuit and built from 1602 to 1637 with assistance of Japanese Christian artisans. It served as the first university in the Far East and was burned to the ground in 1835, leaving only the façade, the staircase and portions of a wall, as it is now. Next to this Heritage Site is the Macau Museum.
